It's a shame I couldn't take pictures of the interior, but it was nice to be able to see the history because it was quiet and there were no people.

A small museum within a traditional Thai building complex. Similar to the Jim Thompson House, you can tour traditional Thai houses at Suan Pakkad Palace. In contrast to the Jim Thompson House, you don't need a guide here; you can explore the complex independently. Various traditional objects are shown inside the houses; it is a museum. The information could be a little more detailed. Entry is very cheap, you only pay a few euros. Anyone interested in Thai architecture and the way of life in times gone by is definitely in the right place here. Since the Suan Pakkad Palace is a little outside the typical tourist path, it is usually pleasantly empty here. I can recommend a visit.
